Carraig Dúlra

BACKGROUND

Established in 2007, Carraig Dúlra Ltd is a family owned social enterprise (all profits are reinvested in its social and environmental mission) dedicated to providing education for sustainable development via development education informed experiences, and connections related to sustainable living. These subjects are shared through hands-on courses, local and national partnerships, and outreach projects in County Wicklow and beyond.

Each initiative is linked to helping people develop and maintain a connection to their community and to the natural world, and deepen their understanding of the local and global intersectional and interdependence of issues of poverty, justice, climate change, and the biodiversity crisis. Participants and volunteers learn how their actions can make a difference and how we can live more justly, healthily and sustainably into a resilient future.
