BACKGROUND

The Association of Secondary Teachers in Ireland (ASTI) is Ireland’s main second level teachers’ union representing more than 18,500 teachers in voluntary secondary schools, community and comprehensive schools and colleges. ASTI membership is open to all qualified second-level teachers working in recognised second-level schools.
