Adrienne Boyle

BACKGROUND

Adrienne Boyle is a community activist and development worker, engaged at local and global levels. She has been involved with the Development Education sector since 1995 initially through Comhlámh and Banúlacht, and then later with a range of Development Education organisations across the country, including IDEA, where Adrienne was the first Interim Director. Adrienne has worked overseas in the Global South on both long and short term projects and programmes. Having worked long term in Palestine, she expresses a life-long commitment to justice issues in that area. She currently works independently in the local community and international development sectors. She lives on her barge in the Grand Canal Dock in Dublin. She currently enjoys her roles as a sailor and a grandmother!

 

CURRENT PROJECTS

Supporting capacity building within organisations including Irish Aid, Saolta, Praxis UCC and Dublin City Council's Public Participation Network through facilitation, organisational development, planning and evaluation.
